President Trump has extended immigration restrictions until 12/31/2020
President Trump has issued further immigration restrictions due to high unemployment rates caused by COVID-19. This Executive Order continues the previous restrictions on green card applications, and it also issues new restrictions on H-1B, H-2B, J, and L visas, but only for individuals entering the U.S. As of now, these restrictions do not affect individuals that are currently in the United States. The proclamation, however, does leave room for possible further restrictions.
